The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Result on June 14, 2024, at neet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can access their results and officially download their scorecards from the NEET website.
In addition to the final result, the testing agency will send the scorecards to students’ registered email addresses. These scorecards will also be available for download on the official website on the same day as the result announcement.

NEET Exam Overview
This test was conducted in offline mode. There were two sections in each subject, i.e. Section A and B. Section A had 35 questions, and Section B had 15 questions, totalling 50 questions. From the total questions, it was compulsory to attend all questions of Section A and 10 of 15 questions of Section B.
It includes subjects in physics, chemistry, and biology (botany & zoology). All questions were multiple-choice, with a total of 720 marks. Each correct answer carried 04 marks. There was a negative marking of 01 mark for each incorrect answer.
NEET UG 2024 Result Date
This entrance test determines the student’s eligibility for admission in MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, BAMS, and other paramedical courses. Those who took this test await the NEET result, which will be declared on 14 June 2024 at neet.nta.nic.in.

To get admission to desired courses and colleges, students must score more than the cut-off marks, called minimum qualifying marks. Merit List & Counselling Process
After the NEET results are announced, the authority will compile a merit list, ranking students based on their marks. Qualified students will then be invited for counseling sessions, where they must register by paying a registration fee.
During counseling, students will have the opportunity to select their preferred courses and colleges based on their ranks and marks. The authority will then allocate seats to students according to their choices. Once seats are allotted, students must report to their assigned institutes.

Students have to use these steps to check the “NEET Result 2024”:
- Go to the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
- Look for the “Public Notice” section.
- The authority has provided several links regarding the examination. Choose the link to check the “NEET Result 2024”.
- After finding the link, click on the link and enter the registration number, date of birth and captch code/security pin into the login criteria.
- Now, click on the “Proceed/Submit” button.
- The result will be displayed on the screen in pdf format.
- Download it and check your results.
