SSC GD Physical Test 2024 Schedule: Details and Requirements
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is gearing up to conduct the SSC GD Physical Test for the year 2024. This test is the second phase in the recruitment process for candidates who have successfully cleared the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The Physical Test is a crucial step that assesses candidates’ physical fitness and ensures they meet the required standards for the role of Constable (General Duty) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The SSC GD Physical Test is expected to take place in August 2024. However, the exact date and detailed schedule will be announced soon on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.
Components of the SSC GD Physical Test
The SSC GD Physical Test comprises two main parts:
- Physical Endurance Test (PET): This test evaluates the candidate’s physical capabilities through activities such as running, push-ups, and jumping.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): This test measures the candidate’s height, chest, and weight to ensure they meet the required physical standards.
Both the PET and PST are qualifying in nature, meaning candidates need to pass these tests to move forward in the recruitment process, but the tests do not carry any marks.
